Chris Bradford

Chris Bradford is the author of the hugely popular Young Samurai series. In writing the series, Chris researched everything from samurai swordsmanship to ninjutsu in the most practical way possible: he learned the skills himself. An avid martial artist, he names his samurai sword as his most treasured possession. The Young Samurai stories are set in Japan in the 1500s; lead character Jack risks his life to rescue people, avoiding deadly rivals and learning the skills he needs to survive as a ninja.
